Hi, I’m Kim!
I’m so excited that you’re here at Getting on Course with IntimateWalk, where intimacy with God is the point and spiritual maturity, discovering or settling our true Kingdom identity, and fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives are all the desired results. And, there are no superstars here. Just sincere Believers on this journey together so that iron may sharpen iron and we all become “full for Him!”
My sincere hope is that you will find the resources here practical and able to stir in you a fresh excitement in knowing why God wanted you and to revisit the divine purpose He placed within you that may have quietly settled to the bottom years ago. Let’s stir them back up to the top!
I believe the quality of every person’s life is determined by what and how they think (understanding what’s actually true from the Scriptures v. how things appear around them).
My passion is to see others rise up to see what God always intended. I call it “getting up on the inside.” You know, where we believe again … where joy and peace continue to build strength within us … where mind renewal energizes, giving life to others … where settling for less than all God wants to do in and through us is never ever an option. To sum it up, it’s about being conformed to the image of Christ.
Imagine this … you’re living your life by God’s design instead of by the “happenings” around you … and most certainly, not in defeat … though opposition will certainly come. As you think about it, what comes to mind? Quick … write it down … date it … keep it handy … read it often. You’ll see why over time.

Back to the beginning!
So, are you ready to change the way you think so you can experience life lived out in a fresh and new way? I had to ask myself the same question, though I wasn’t living what most would call a bad life. I just discovered through really digging into God’s Word, there were many things that go along with the new creation life that simply weren’t on my radar. We were made for so much more than what we may understand and there are people all around us waiting for us to show them that it’s actually possible to come up higher and to know God intimately. There’s no one like you in all the earth and your authentic life is just waiting for you to say “Yes – I can do that!”
I would like to invite you and challenge you to consider the possibility of going beyond where you ever thought possible through the use of materials here at Getting on Course for IntimateWalk, as well as utilizing resources you may find elsewhere. While I know how effective IntimateWalk’s resources are, my deepest desire is that your visit here will in some way help you get to where you should be in a way that is the most effective for you.

Exploring Worship…
I’m so excited to share my first published book with you. As worshipers of God, there are critical things we must understand and nurture to live as the true worshipers the Father is seeking. And that doesn’t mean we will achieve perfection … only God is perfect and His perfect love is what enables us to learn what it means to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
After leading God’s people corporately in songs of praise for many years, I discovered that I understood more about music than I did worship, but God lovingly got my attention, wrapped His arms around me and began to teach me that music and worship weren’t the same, but the two working together create a harmonious and exciting experience for all believers … corporately with one another or quietly alone.
I now refer to what I did all those years was lead other worshipers in songs of praise. As God taught me, I began to document what I learned and responded in obedience to Him telling me, “Teach them about worship.”
Today, now in book form, I’d like to share with you some of what God downloaded in me over time, and I’m so excited … for there is so much more to learn!

When the steps in front of you are unclear and you begin to think maybe you’ve missed God, WAIT! Sometimes you may have mis-stepped and other times you are right in step with His will, ESPECIALLY when it doesn’t “look like it.” Either way, He has already covered that for you.
Stay FAITHFUL, INTENTIONAL, and OBEDIENT to what you believe He has called you to. He’ll use all 3 to stretch, refine and strengthen you toward His ways to make more room “in you” for the next steps in His plan through you. God’s not afraid when we are unclear or when we misstep.
He will never miss us and He’s right there to course correct us when necessary because His plan is bigger than just us. These components are all part of the road to spiritual maturity. Remember Joseph … David … Paul … AND how Hebrews described Jesus below:
Heb. 5:7-10 ~ During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
